cadillac cts coupe for leasects coupe![]() The F-117 Nighthawk is a stealth ground attack aircraft, operated until 2008 by the U.S. Air Force. Developed in secret in the 80s by the American company Lockheed, the aircraft became the first aircraft specifically designed around stealth technology "stealth". The primary purpose of the F-117 was to be able to fly without being detected by enemy radar. Fascinating, Russian scientists and American engineers had already shown, since the mid-60s, it was theoretically possible to minimize the footprint of an object on a radar using angular shapes and specific materials. The problem was that the calculations needed to reduce the footprint of an object the size of an airplane on radar were too complex for computers of the time. In addition, building an aircraft that did not contain any curve in its design, it broke all tradition and principle of design aircraft at the time. We often heard that is not an omelette without breaking eggs, but the challenge was that the use of angular shapes and some materials for the diffraction of the radar made aircraft aerodynamically unstable. Again, the state of computer technology at the time did not have a flight computer powerful enough to allow this thing to stay in the air. The F-117 has to wait until the computer is sufficiently advanced, and was officially unveiled to the world in 1988 with all the grace of its futuristic lines.
It was under the roar of two turbofan engines of an F-117 that the new Cadillac CTS Coupe could easily go on stage. When laying our eyes on this new 2 +2 coupe for Cadillac, there is a unique vehicle and striking with dynamic lines and aggressive angles. The lines are not just "cut with a knife," they seem to laser cut so they are angled and straight, and reinforce the similarities of style between this car and the American stealth aircraft, especially when delivered in black. In the market for luxury sports coupe, the Cadillac launches into a sky dominated by fighters Teutonic and Japanese, including the Audi A5, BMW 335 and Infiniti G37S. The U.S. against the world, is this a new American victory? Visually, the front of the vehicle is virtually identical to that of his sister with four doors. There are an imposing grille "cut fries", xenon directional headlamps and functional air ducts for front brakes. The similarities with the four-door version stops from the windshield, which is tilted dramatically in the coupe and in combination with a short top and bottom, the car has an ultra sporty profile. The rear wings are so swollen that they appear stretched in the traditional way and allow them to accommodate the huge 19-inch rubber profile 275. Rear view, angles and straight lines are continuing, there is a spoiler that serves as a brake light and lights inspired by the vertical fins that adorned the vintage Cadillac. The central dual exhaust is stylized in order to continue the theme of the rafters found scattered in the vehicle and gives a speed of turbine aircraft to cut. All in all, the vehicle is striking and the entire face needed to stand on our roads. |
